The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our client’s Digital Technology team as a Senior Digital Developer, contributing to the evolution of a large-scale customer-facing web platform.

Based in Melbourne, you will work within a cross-functional agile team delivering innovative electrification and customer solutions across electricity, gas and telco services. This role offers meaningful impact, exposure to modern digital architecture, and the chance to help shape transformational customer experiences in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

Must be able to attend the Melbourne CBD office 3 days per week. Unfortunately sponsorship is not available for this position.

The Role
As a Senior Digital Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering high-quality digital solutions that support the client’s customer platforms.

Your other responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, coding, testing and deploying scalable digital solutions across web and API layers
  • Translating product owner requirements into fully developed, customer-focused functionality
  • Contributing to system analysis, functional and technical design, and feasibility assessments
  • Developing and maintaining automated unit, integration and UI/API tests within CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborating closely with QA, BA, UX and architecture teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes
  • Mentoring developers and contributing to continuous improvement across engineering practices


About you
In order to be a successful applicant you will bring strong experience delivering digital solutions within modern, agile environments.

You will also have:

  • Extensive experience in a similar senior development role
  • Strong capability in Angular, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, SASS and TypeScript
  • Proven experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Node.js and XUnit
  • Experience with Auth0 or OpenID, along with Azure, DevOps, microservices and cyber security principles
  • Solid understanding of test-driven development, continuous integration and quality engineering practices
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
