About the Company

Our client is a large, established Australian organisation operating within the healthcare and services sector, supporting a broad range of essential services nationally.
With a strong focus on technology-enabled service delivery, the organisation is continuing to enhance its Salesforce capability and is looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join its collaborative technology team.
This is a permanent Melbourne-based opportunity offering hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

About the Role

As the Senior Salesforce Developer, you will play a key role in managing, enhancing and optimising the Salesforce environment, delivering secure, scalable and practical solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience.
Working across Salesforce development, administration, integrations and automation, you will:

  • Develop and enhance Salesforce functionality using Apex and Salesforce configuration tools.
  • Design and implement workflows, automations and dashboards.
  • Support Salesforce integrations and data management activities.
  • Maintain platform security, data accuracy, user permissions and access controls.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide Salesforce platform support.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Support multiple Salesforce organisations, managed packages and third-party applications.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and implementation partners.
  • Contribute to Salesforce governance, technical standards and continuous platform improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other Salesforce developers where required.


About You

You will be an experienced Salesforce Developer who combines strong hands-on technical capability with the ability to engage effectively with business stakeholders.
Ideally, you will bring:

  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, with strong hands-on Apex capability.
  • Experience developing and supporting Salesforce integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce data management, security and access controls.
  • Experience designing and implementing workflows, automation and dashboards.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Experience working within a complex or regulated environment.
  • Exposure to Salesforce Health Cloud, Field Service, OmniStudio or OmniScripts would be highly regarded.
  • Experience across multiple Salesforce organisations, managed packages and third-party applications would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience within healthcare, medical, government, financial services or another regulated industry would be beneficial.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting other developers would also be valued.
