The Opportunity
This is a contract opportunity for a Senior Project Support Officer to support multiple concurrent ICT security initiatives within a structured, compliance-driven project environment. This role needs someone who has genuinely supported project delivery, not someone who has only handled basic administration or diary coordination. The successful candidate will bring strong RAID, governance, reporting, documentation, and financial tracking capability, with the ability to keep project information accurate, current, and moving.
The Role
In this role, you will provide hands-on project support across ICT security initiatives, helping project managers and stakeholders maintain delivery discipline, governance, and visibility.
- Maintain RAID registers, including risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, governance forums, agendas, minutes, and actions
- Follow up action items and Q&A register items through to closure
- Prepare highlight reports, dashboard updates, status reports, and project documentation
- Support project financial administration, including budget tracking and forecasting inputs
- Maintain project schedules, registers, records, and delivery documentation
About You
You will suit this role if you are structured, detail-focused, and confident working in a fast-paced project environment where accuracy and follow-through matter.
- Recent experience supporting projects within a structured delivery environment
- Strong RAID register experience, including tracking, updating, and escalation support
- Proven meeting, governance, and stakeholder coordination capability
- Experience preparing project reports, dashboards, minutes, and status updates
- Exposure to project finance tasks, including budget tracking or financial documentation
- ICT, digital, government, cyber security, or large enterprise experience is highly desirable
Benefits
This contract offers exposure to meaningful ICT security work in a structured project environment.
- Initial contract from 1 June 2026 to 4 October 2026
- 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday
- Opportunity to support cyber security, governance, risk, and compliance-focused initiatives
How to apply
Please apply with an updated CV that clearly demonstrates your recent project support experience, particularly across RAID management, governance coordination, project reporting, financial administration, and ICT or government project environments. Applications that only show general administration experience are unlikely to be competitive for this role.
