We are partnering with a leading organisation in the wind energy sector to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering large-scale renewable energy projects across Australia, with exposure to global stakeholders. There will be international relocation support for the right person.
This position sits within a high-performing project delivery function and will see you take ownership of major wind farm developments from early-stage planning through to commissioning and handover.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Project Manager, you will act as the senior representative on assigned projects, leading delivery across the full lifecycle. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a hands-on, leadership-focused role within a growing and evolving organisation, offering strong long-term career prospects as the renewable energy sector continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of wind farm and renewable energy projects
- Oversee planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover
- Manage complex contractual frameworks (EPC, D&C, JV, alliances, logistics, installation)
- Drive project performance across cost, schedule, quality and risk
- Act as the key interface between clients, contractors, internal teams and government bodies
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory standards
- Provide clear and accurate project reporting to internal and external stakeholders
- Lead, mentor and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams within a matrix environment
- Support continuous improvement of project systems, processes and PMO functions
About You
You are a highly experienced Project Manager with a record of delivering complex infrastructure or energy projects. You bring both technical depth and commercial acumen, along with the ability to lead teams in flexible, busy environments.
Key requirements include:
- Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related discipline
- Extensive experience in wind, power, or major construction projects.
- Senior Project Management or similar leadership role within the Wind Energy Industry.
- Strong experience across contract management and stakeholder engagement
- Proven ability to manage large, complex projects from concept to completion
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with recognised project management frameworks.
- Ability to operate effectively in a cross-cultural, global environment
