Our utilities sector client is looking for a dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead the transformation of their CRM, billing, and accounting systems.
The Role
As the Senior Project Manager, you'll deliver high-priority IT projects, driving them to successful completion on time and within budget. Leading a cross-functional team, you'll collaborate with business owners and vendors to ensure the solutions align with the organisations strategic goals. You'll also engage with C-suite executives, turning complex technical details into clear business value, and be responsible for:
- Leading and delivering large-scale IT projects to completion.
- Managing and inspiring a high-performance, cross-functional team.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Overseeing vendors and ensuring deliverables meet cost, quality, and timeline expectations.
- Driving innovation, problem-solving, and process improvements within budget constraints.
- Managing project risks, issues, and budgets, ensuring financial performance and timely delivery.
- Leading change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption for end-users.
- Maintaining comprehensive project documentation and managing audits and reviews.
About You
We need a hands-on leader who excels in delivering large IT projects with precision and efficiency. You should have deep experience in project management, a strong ability to drive stakeholder engagement, and proven expertise in vendor management and budget control. Key qualifications include:
- 10+ years of experience in technology project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
- Certifications in PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologies.
- Strong experience in managing large-scale, enterprise-level IT projects.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Project Online).
- Extensive experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Solid financial management skills, including budgeting and cost control.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.
