Senior Project Manager
Based in Geelong AND Melbourne CBD | Fixed Term to September 2027 | $149,000 + Super
We are seeking experienced Senior Project Managers to lead the delivery of complex business transformation initiatives within a large Victorian organisation.
This is not a technical IT infrastructure role. You will lead people-centric transformation programs that translate strategy into structured, well-governed delivery. Working closely with senior leaders and sponsors, you will manage planning, governance, risk, reporting and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex business transformation initiatives from planning through to delivery
- Manage scope, schedule, risk, budget and governance requirements
- Prepare strategic papers and contribute to business cases
- Report to Steering Committees and senior stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional project teams and manage interdependencies
- Partner with change specialists to support stakeholder engagement and adoption
About You
- 5–10 years’ experience in senior project management roles
- Proven delivery of complex business transformation programs
- Strong governance, reporting and executive stakeholder engagement capability
- Experience in government, insurance, health or disability sectors highly regarded
- Formal project management qualifications (PRINCE2, Agile or similar)
This is a full-time fixed term opportunity until September 2027, based in Geelong AND Melbourne with hybrid working (60% office attendance required).
