About the Role
This role will support the procurement and sourcing teams in the development, collation and analysis of financial and other value-based inputs through to sourcing events.
- Deliver efficient end-to-end commercial support to assigned portfolios.
- Participation in commercial projects aimed to improve business performance and reduce costs.
- Utilise advanced data analytics techniques to extract insights from large data-sets related to procurement activities.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators and support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimise supplier relationships.
- Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends and supplier capabilities.
- Continuously identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the development of best practices in procurement analytics.
About the Successful Candidate
Are you passionate about leveraging data analytics to drive strategic procurement decisions? Do you excel in handling large volumes of data and possess strong commercial acumen?
- Proven experience in data analysis, particularly with large data-sets.
- Proven experience in visualisation and development of commercial insights through data.
- Proficiency in data manipulation tools such as Excel, SQL, PowerBi, Tableau and Access.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and principles.
- Ability to work independently within a structured team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Demonstrated commercial awareness and the ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
