About the Role
We are seeking Expressions of Interest for an experienced Senior Power Systems Planning Engineer to be the subject matter expert for power system studies and risk evaluation. You will support construction, commissioning and operational teams, ensuring compliance with regulations and technical requirements.
This role reports to the Power Systems Planning Manager.
About You 
To be successful in this role you will have relevant qualifications and strong experience in electrical or power systems engineering, power systems modelling and analysis. Proficient skills in automation, plotting and data analysis tools (Python, DPL) are also required.
Your excellent interpersonal skills allow you to build effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, resulting in exceptional performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement control systems throughout the project life cycle from concept to commissioning
- Design and develop control system software including PLC, SCADA, inverters and generators
- Manage regulatory compliance, ensuring projects meet National Electricity Rules and grid connection requirements.
- Comfortable working independently or collaboratively, managing multiple priorities, and tackling new tasks.
