Senior Portfolio Delivery Manager

Davidson is the proud recruitment partner of SEC Victoria as they accelerate Victoria’s renewable energy transition.

Do work that makes a difference
Join an organisation who’s making a real difference to Victoria's energy future. SEC’s passionate people are working to support the transition to renewable energy and delivering affordable, reliable, renewable energy for all Victorians.

SEC offers hybrid working with offices in Melbourne’s CBD and Morwell.

What your day could look like
Each day will give you the opportunity to make a real impact as you support Portfolio Delivery & Investment Assurance across SEC’s growing renewable energy portfolio. Working closely with project teams, delivery partners and senior leaders, you’ll help keep major projects moving forward by providing oversight, identifying risks early and ensuring investment outcomes align with SEC’s strategic objectives. Your work will directly contribute to delivering critical renewable energy infrastructure for Victoria.

You’ll also play a key role in Portfolio Governance, Risk & Commercial Oversight, strengthening the frameworks, reporting and controls that help projects succeed. Alongside this, you’ll build trusted relationships through Stakeholder Engagement & Portfolio Performance, collaborating with government, contractors, regulators and internal teams to solve challenges, provide valuable insights to executives and the Board, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and ready for a seamless transition into operations.

What you need to be successful
You’re an experienced infrastructure delivery professional who thrives on bringing clarity, structure and momentum to complex programs of work. With a strong background in renewable energy or major infrastructure projects, you combine strategic oversight with practical delivery expertise, confidently managing competing priorities, influencing stakeholders and driving high-quality outcomes. You understand what it takes to successfully deliver projects in complex environments, balancing commercial, governance and community considerations while building trusted relationships that enable projects to progress from development through to operations.

  • Extensive experience delivering large-scale energy or infrastructure projects, supported by qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline, with a strong understanding of renewable energy project lifecycles and delivery frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and oversee multiple concurrent projects, balancing governance, risk, commercial obligations, budgets and resources to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience delivering projects that balance planning and regulatory requirements, community expectations, Traditional Owner engagement, local content commitments and social procurement outcomes
