With new projects on the horizon and a strong focus on modernising operations, this is an ideal time to come on board.

About the Role

This isn’t your standard payroll position. The company is seeking an experienced and tech-savvy Senior Payroll Officer who thrives in a changing environment and enjoys streamlining processes. Working under an outsourced payroll model, you’ll act as the key internal contact to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and smooth delivery of each pay cycle. You’ll also play a key role as the business rolls out new system integrations, contributing to testing and process improvement along the way.

  • End-to-end processing oversight of a fortnightly payroll for approximately 300 employees across multiple Awards
  • Liaise with site managers and the external payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies while maintaining full compliance with current legislation
  • Support system testing, and payroll process optimisation
  • Manage year-end reconciliations, WorkCover, STP, PAYG summaries, and audit reporting

The Benefits

  • Engaging, down-to-earth culture where you can genuinely be yourself
  • Two days per week working from home
  • Northern Gold Coast location with on-site parking
  • Flexible start and finish times
  • Salary negotiable depending on experience

About You

You’re a confident, proactive payroll professional who brings solid technical skills and a sharp eye for detail. With at least three years of end-to-end payroll experience, you’re comfortable interpreting Awards, managing compliance, and supporting system or process improvements. You’re experienced in liaising with outsourced payroll providers, understand the importance of accuracy and communication, and are motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a business that’s embracing change.
