About the Role
This is not your run-of-the-mill payroll job. We need an experienced, tech-savvy Senior Payroll Officer to take the reins and help drive improvements as the business migrates to a new rostering platform.
- Process fortnightly payroll for approx. 300 employees across multiple awards
- Liaise with managers across several sites to ensure data accuracy and timely payroll updates
- Troubleshoot discrepancies, advise on payroll legislation, and keep things compliant
- Contribute to ongoing system migration, testing, and payroll process optimisation
- Manage year-end reconciliations, STP, PAYG summaries, and audit reporting

- Start: ASAP
- Term: Contract until the permanent role is filled (potential to stay on)
- Hours: 38 hours/week, with flexible start times
- Work from Home: Mondays and Fridays
- Location: Brand-new offices in Helensvale, with easy access and parking
- Rate:$65.00/hour + Super
About You
You're a confident, proactive payroll professional who:
- Brings at least 5 years' end-to-end payroll experience
- Has solid exposure to payroll system transitions and process improvement
- Understands awards, compliance, and legislative requirements like the back of your hand
- Enjoys finding better ways to get things done
- Is detail-obsessed, reliable, and motivated
