About the Role
Seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join a fast‑paced environment, providing on‑site and remote engineering support to a diverse customer base across multiple industries. This role is highly hands‑on, covering enterprise networking, wireless, firewalls, and cybersecurity, and requires strong customer engagement skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering on‑site and remote network engineering services across multiple client environments
- Acting as an SME and escalation point for complex network, firewall, and wireless issues
- Supporting and troubleshooting enterprise networks including switching, wireless, SD‑WAN, and security platforms
- Working across multi‑vendor environments including Aruba, Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto
- Providing general application and connectivity support within customer environments
- Managing user accounts, file access, endpoint configuration, and device transitions
- Partnering closely with the BAU Service Desk to prioritise incidents, manage SLAs, and meet customer expectations
- Installing, configuring, and supporting endpoint software, licensing, and user devices
- Accurately documenting technical work, time entries, and resolutions within ticketing and client systems
About You
- Proven experience in a Senior Network Engineer role within an MSP or services environment
- Strong customer‑facing communication skills and the ability to translate technical issues clearly
- A collaborative mindset with a willingness to mentor and support junior engineers
- Excellent time‑management skills and experience working to SLAs and competing priorities
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving capability across complex environment
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Level 4 network troubleshooting expertise
- Significant experience in enterprise networking and SD‑WAN environments
- Deep hands‑on experience with firewalls, switching, and wireless technologies
- Proven delivery‑focused engineering experience across multiple client environments
- Relevant vendor certifications across networking and security platform
