The Opportunity
This is a 12 month contract opportunity for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join a well-established applications team supporting a broad portfolio of critical business systems. You will work across application support, enhancement, troubleshooting, upgrades, deployment automation, technical road mapping, and risk remediation, helping keep more than 35 business applications running reliably while delivering practical software improvements for the business.
About the Role
In this role, you will provide full stack development and application support across a complex enterprise environment.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance business applications using .NET Framework, C#, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL Server, and T-SQL.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues raised by customers and business users.
- Deliver robust, testable, and well-documented solutions aligned to business requirements.
- Support system upgrades, security patching, deployment automation, and application onboarding.
- Contribute to technical road maps, application improvements, performance tuning, and risk remediation.
- Work within agile delivery practices, using tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.
About You
You are a hands-on full stack developer who can balance development work with real-world application support.
- At least 7 years of commercial full stack development experience across .NET Framework, C#, and web technologies.
- Strong experience with Entity Framework, SQL Server, T-SQL, Git, and branching models.
- Commercial experience with Angular 10+, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Azure cloud solution experience, with the ability to support cloud-hosted or cloud-integrated applications.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to business stakeholders.
