Davidson Technology are working with a large State Government Department to secure a Senior .Net Developer who will provide Design, Development, Maintenance and Support services to the Manager, Corporate Development team.




About the Role

As the Senior .NET Developer, you’ll operate within a high-performing and professional support team, delivering critical client requirements with a strong commitment to service excellence and integrity. You will focus on the architecture, design, development, and delivery of Business Information Systems and APIs across the full Software Development Life Cycle, primarily using Microsoft technologies to streamline and reduce environmental complexity. You’ll demonstrate expertise in .NET technologies—including .NET 4 – 4.5.x, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET (MVC & Entity Framework), and Microsoft Azure Services—as well as proficiency with SQL Server (2012–2022), SharePoint, PingFed, Windows Server, and Reporting Services. Experience with front-end frameworks and languages such as Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, XML, and JQuery is also essential.




About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll possess a minimum of five years demonstrated experience in Microsoft ASP.NET software development (SFIA Level 5 – PROG). You will possess deep expertise in ASP.NET/MVC, Visual Studio 2019, and SQL Server 2016/2017, including performance optimisation, tuning, stored procedures, and triggers. Strong knowledge of MS Reporting Services 2016, MS .NET Frameworks (3.5 to 4.5), XML Web Services, and API development is essential. You must be adept in using tools like Team Foundation Server and Azure DevOps, ensuring the maintenance and development of robust, scalable, and efficient web-based applications.

The Benefits

You will be offered a 24-month contract and an hourly rate of up to $111.71 p/hour as well as a flexible working arrangement agreed with your manager.
