Senior .NET Developer (Document Generation / Word Templates)

We’re working on a contract opportunity focused on uplifting core systems and modernising document and correspondence capabilities. This is not a standard .NET role. A key part of the work involves document generation and template redevelopment including Word, mail merge and VBA alongside application changes within a legacy environment.
What you’ll be working on
Enhancing and maintaining .NET applications and APIs
Redeveloping and improving Word-based templates and document outputs
Supporting updates across web applications and reporting systems
Working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and solve problems
Contributing to system uplift during a period of change
What we’re looking for
Strong experience with C# and .NET Core or Framework
Experience with document generation, Word templates, mail merge, VBA or similar
Ability to work across both technical development and stakeholder engagement
Comfortable working in legacy or evolving environments
Experience with Agile delivery such as JIRA, Scrum or Kanban
Nice to have
Experience in government or regulated environments
Exposure to OpenXML, document automation or correspondence systems
Details
12-month contract with potential extension
Hybrid working across ACT, NSW, VIC, QLD and SA
Baseline clearance preferred, or Australian citizen able to obtain clearance and pass a police check
