About the Role
As a Senior Manager in the Sydney-based Sustainability Consulting team, you’ll lead the delivery of climate and sustainability reporting engagements for a diverse client base. This client-facing role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring deep technical understanding, exceptional stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate climate-related requirements into practical, finance-aligned solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading carbon accounting, sustainability disclosures, and climate risk analysis engagements across sectors.
- Advising clients on sustainability frameworks including IFRS S2 and TCFD, with a focus on regulatory readiness and strategic impact.
- Managing multidisciplinary teams and coaching junior consultants to deliver high-quality client outcomes.
- Engaging with C-suite and board-level stakeholders to guide sustainability strategy and ensure compliance.
- Overseeing project management, reporting quality, and engagement delivery from end to end.
About You
You are a qualified CA or CPA with tertiary qualifications in accounting, sustainability, environmental science, or a related discipline. You bring proven experience in sustainability consulting, ideally from a professional services environment, and have successfully delivered reporting engagements aligned with global standards.
You’re a natural communicator with strong project management capability and experience working with senior-level stakeholders. You’re collaborative, values-driven, and bring a sharp attention to detail with a passion for quality. You're also a capable people leader who enjoys building others up while driving meaningful work that impacts how businesses respond to climate challenges.
Your background will include:
- Experience delivering sustainability reporting (especially IFRS S2, TCFD).
- Exposure to carbon accounting, scenario analysis, and climate risk assessment.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
- A growth mindset and comfort with navigating complex change.
