About the Role
As a Senior Manager in the Advisory team, you’ll work closely with partners, internal stakeholders, and external clients to provide technical accounting advice and implement IFRS-based solutions across a wide variety of sectors. This is a high-impact, consulting-style role offering variety, autonomy, and progression opportunities.
You’ll also support national and international technical forums, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing tactical and technical advice on IFRS and AASB matters.
- Leading the preparation of accounting position papers and financial disclosure reviews.
- Advising on implementation of new standards and climate-related financial disclosures.
- Participating in national/international IFRS forums and contributing your insights.
- Supporting client engagements with hands-on project delivery and quality outcomes.
- Contributing to team growth through networking, profile-building, and capability uplift.
About You
You are a CA-qualified accounting professional with strong IFRS technical knowledge and a passion for problem-solving. You may come from an advisory, consulting, or in-house financial reporting role and are ready to broaden your scope or step into a more strategic advisory space.
You enjoy staying sharp on new and emerging accounting issues and thrive in dynamic, intellectually curious teams.
Your background will include:
- Deep knowledge of IFRS and AASB frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience leading or managing projects.
- A commercial mindset and stakeholder-focused approach.
- A collaborative, agile, and detail-oriented working style.
- An interest in climate-related and ESG-linked reporting is a bonus.
