Pitcher Partners is a leading network of independent Australian accounting and business advisory firms, working together to enable growth and ambition for our clients. And our people.
When you join Pitcher Partners, you’re joining a team with heart. We support each other. We learn together. We’re deliberate about fostering relationships that nurture and empower every individual.
And we’re excited by what’s possible. We know some of the best new ideas come in the form of curious, talented people we haven’t met yet. Perhaps you’re one of them.
We’re seeking a Senior Manager, Business Partnering to provide strategic and operational HR leadership to dedicated practice groups, acting as a trusted advisor and custodian of our culture and transformation.
In this influential role, you will partner closely with senior leaders and partners to anticipate business needs, shape people priorities, and implement cyclical HR activities and strategic initiatives that directly support the firm’s objectives. Your work will ensure that the firm’s People Strategy is embedded across the business, enabling leaders to build high-performing, engaged, and future-ready teams.
Working across a broad portfolio, you will lead critical people initiatives including workforce planning, performance and talent management, capability development, employee engagement, organisational design, and complex change. You will use data and insight to diagnose opportunities, guide decision-making, and mitigate people-related risk, while coaching leaders to build their effectiveness and confidence. As a senior HR business partner, you will influence at executive level, drive cultural alignment, and champion solutions that strengthen our employee experience. The role requires a seasoned HR professional with extensive business partnering capability, exceptional relationship skills, and the ability to navigate both strategic and hands-on work in a dynamic professional services environment. You will ideally have 10 + years in a similar role, likely from a professional services or complex matrixed commercial organisation.
At Pitcher Partners, you will join a team with heart and a culture focused on wellbeing, flexibility, and meaningful connection. You will have access to a wide range of benefits including flexible working arrangements, income protection insurance, paid parental leave, discounted health insurance, mental health support, an active social club, regular team events, and a modern city-central office with premium end-of-trip facilities. If you are energised by partnering with leaders, shaping organisational culture, and delivering impactful people solutions, we invite you to explore this opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our Firm.
