About the Role
Location - Sydney / Melbourne
Hybrid working
As a Senior Software (Fullstack) engineer, you will be part of a squad building a new banking experience. You will be working with engineers on uplifting business capabilities and modernising our tech stack. You'll be hands-on coding and be responsible for shaping the evolution of this system by designing and developing micro services, data access layers, REST API(s), and writing integration services for third-party API consumption, manage risk with safe deployments and automated testing, as well as learning more about back-end engineering.
About You
We use diverse tools, languages, and frameworks. Experience with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success:
- Backend: Node.js, JavaScript, NextJS, NestJS, REST APIs, microservices, .Net core and .Net Framework
- Frontend: NextJs, React (preferred) and or similar frameworks with Redux, Redux toolkit, testing-library/react.
- Databases: SQL (Oracle, Postgres Aurora) and NoSQL design/programming
- Development Tools: GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Agile methodologies
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Hashicorp Vault, ACDC, Sonarqube, Snyk, Wiz
- AWS: Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, Serverless, Step Functions and knowledge of other AWS services
- Security: Certificate management, vulnerability assessment, secrets management
- Monitoring: Observe, Grafana, Prometheus, SRE engineering knowledge
- AI Engineering : Tools like Claude, Opencode, Github Copilot; Agentic AI, Gen AI, MCPs, Agents, Skills
