About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to contribute to the design and delivery of modern, cloud-native applications. This role is hands-on across the full stack, with a strong focus on building scalable microservices and high-quality frontend applications.
You’ll work across React, NodeJS, and Java to deliver end-to-end solutions, contributing to both customer-facing experiences and backend services. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, with a focus on delivering secure, performant, and maintainable systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and building fullstack applications using React, NodeJS, and Java
- Developing and maintaining microservices and RESTful APIs
- Contributing to backend services and BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) layers
- Working with cloud-native technologies (AWS, containers, CI/CD pipelines)
- Writing clean, testable, and maintainable code with strong engineering standards
- Participating in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
You are a well-rounded Fullstack Engineer who is comfortable working across both frontend and backend systems, with hands-on experience in modern engineering environments.
You will bring:
- Strong experience with React for building modern frontend applications
- Solid experience with NodeJS (BFF/API layer development)
- Strong backend development experience with Java (Spring Boot / microservices)
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs (GraphQL is a bonus)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred), CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation
- Experience working in Agile teams and contributing to end-to-end delivery
Nice to have:
- Experience within banking or financial services
- Exposure to event-driven architecture or messaging systems
