Senior Dayforce / HRIS Functional Consultants – Contract Opportunities

About the Opportunity

Davidson is partnering with a large, well-established organisation to recruit 2–3 experienced Dayforce / HRIS Functional Consultants for a significant HR technology transformation program.

We are seeking senior consultants with strong hands-on Dayforce experience, particularly across functional solution design, configuration, integrations and reporting.

You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into effective Dayforce solutions, supporting ongoing platform enhancements and optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and configure functional solutions across the Dayforce platform to meet business requirements.
• Provide specialist expertise in Dayforce functionality, configuration and optimisation.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Support integration design between Dayforce modules and other enterprise systems.
• Develop and support complex reporting requirements.
• Provide guidance on Dayforce capabilities, functionality and best practices.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business analysts and other functional specialists to deliver integrated solutions.

Dayforce Module Experience

We are interested in candidates with expertise across one or more of the following areas:

• Workforce Management (WFM): Time and attendance, scheduling and workforce processes.
• Payroll: Payroll configuration, processing and associated functionality.
• Talent Management: Recruitment, onboarding and talent processes.
• Learning Management: Learning administration and development.
• Performance Management: Performance processes and configuration.
• Reporting and Integrations: Complex reporting, data flows and integration solution design.

You do not need to be an expert across every module. We are looking for specialists who can bring strong functional expertise in their respective areas.

Skills and Experience

To be successful, you will ideally demonstrate:

• 5–10+ years of relevant HRIS/HCM functional consulting experience, including substantial hands-on Dayforce expertise.
• Proven experience designing, configuring and optimising Dayforce solutions.
• Strong functional knowledge of one or more Dayforce modules.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical functional solutions.
• Experience with Dayforce integrations, reporting and cross-module dependencies.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise HR technology implementations, enhancements or transformation programs.

Experience working within large Australian organisations with complex workforce and payroll environments will be highly regarded.
