An opportunity exists to join a leading organisation as a senior compliance leader, driving enterprise-wide frameworks and governance. This pivotal second-line-of-defence role will own and uplift the Compliance Management System (CMS), maintain the Board-approved Regulatory Compliance Policy.
About the Role
You will provide subject matter expertise and strategic influence, partnering with Legal, Regulatory Engagement, Compliance Advisory, and senior business leaders. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the CMS in line with ISO 37301 and the Three Lines of Defence model.
- Maintain the Board-approved Regulatory Compliance Policy, embedding governance structures, responsibilities, and escalation protocols.
- Oversee CMS procedures, processes, and tools, ensuring they are practical, accessible, and integrated into business operations.
- Deliver compliance reporting, insights, and trend analysis to executive and Board governance forums.
- Act as senior compliance stakeholder for system enablement (e.g., Archer), driving workflow optimisation and automation.
- Own and govern the Regulatory Compliance Training Framework, delivering mandatory, role-specific, and targeted in-person training.
- Engage senior leaders to embed compliance accountability and uplift organisational capability.
About You
- 7–12+ years’ experience in regulatory compliance, enterprise risk, or governance roles, ideally in utilities , banking, or infrastructure.
- Strong expertise in CMS design and implementation, policy and framework development, and ISO 37301 standards.
- Proven ability to design, deliver, and monitor tiered compliance training programs.
- Skilled in compliance systems (e.g., Archer), enterprise reporting, and Board-level insights.
- Demonstrated capability to influence senior executives, embed frameworks, and drive compliance culture.
- Tertiary qualifications in Law, Risk, Governance, Business, or related disciplines.
