Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer – NV1 Required

12 Month Contract | VIC | Hybrid
We are seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to support the design and delivery of secure, scalable AWS cloud environments.
This role focuses on enterprise multi-account AWS architecture, DevSecOps automation and cloud governance. You will work closely with architecture and senior stakeholders while remaining hands-on across infrastructure, security and automation.
Key responsibilities
- Design and manage AWS multi-account environments using Control Tower and Terraform
- Implement secure cloud architecture aligned to government compliance standards
- Build and maintain CI CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
- Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code modules
- Implement logging, monitoring and security tooling
- Manage network architecture including firewalls and VPC design
- Automate provisioning, deployment and platform operations
- Identify opportunities to improve cloud capability and resilience
Key skills and experience - 5 plus years AWS cloud engineering experience
- Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code capability
- Experience with AWS Organizations, IAM, Control Tower and governance
- DevSecOps tooling and security scanning in pipelines
- Experience working in government or regulated environments
- Understanding of PROTECTED or similar secure environments
- Active NV1 security clearance required
Mandatory requirements - Australian Citizenship
- Active NV1 clearance or above
