Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join the Newcastle team.
About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer who enjoys working across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects while taking ownership of project delivery and client outcomes.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the planning, design and delivery of transport, civil and infrastructure projects while supporting project management activities, stakeholder engagement and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver multidisciplinary civil engineering projects from concept through to delivery
- Undertake civil design activities including earthworks, drainage, stormwater, roads, highways and utilities infrastructure
- Coordinate project activities and support client engagement throughout the project lifecycle
- Attend site visits and collaborate with contractors and delivery teams
- Manage project budgets, schedules and quality requirements
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
- Work closely with internal specialists and external stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes
About You
- Degree qualified Civil Engineer with experience in a multidisciplinary engineering environment
- Strong experience delivering civil infrastructure, transport, highways, utilities or renewable energy projects
- Knowledge of drainage, stormwater management, site development and civil infrastructure design
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules and deliverables
- Ability to lead small project teams and contribute to mentoring junior engineers
- Collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering outcomes
