About the Role
This position supplements existing senior change capability, with a strong focus on early‑stage change scoping, feasibility and delivery support across concurrent initiatives.
The role requires flexibility to move between projects at different stages of the delivery lifecycle and to tailor change approaches to suit varied stakeholder groups across corporate and operational environments.
Key Initiatives You Will Support:
Enterprise Data & Analytics
- Supporting the delivery of a Proof of Concept enterprise data analytics platform hosted in a cloud environment
- Transitioning users from fragmented, spreadsheet‑based reporting to a governed, centralised analytics platform
Finance Systems (Budgeting Tool Implementation)
- Supporting early planning for the implementation of a cloud‑based budgeting tool affecting ~100 users
- Managing the transition from Excel‑based budgeting processes to a centralised system
Safety ‑ Critical Operations (Feasibility Stage)
- Supporting feasibility and business case development for digitising safety‑critical permit processes
- Identifying impacted stakeholder groups across corporate and operational environments
Key responsibilities:
- Lead early‑stage change scoping for complex initiatives, including understanding the problem space, objectives, dependencies and readiness for change
- Identify stakeholders and conduct change impact assessments, including nature, scale and timing of impacts
- Define and document change scope, assumptions, constraints and required supports in collaboration with project teams and sponsors
- Develop pragmatic, fit‑for‑purpose change strategies and high‑level change plans aligned to project maturity
- Partner closely with project managers, business leads and sponsors to shape feasibility outputs, business case inputs and delivery approaches
About You
- Proven experience as a Senior Change Manager within large, complex organisations
- Previous experience within the transport industry and/or government
- Demonstrated strength in early‑stage change scoping, including shaping problem statements, assessing readiness, defining change scope and informing feasibility or business case work
- Strong background supporting technology‑enabled change, including ERP, data, or enterprise systems
- Experience working across feasibility, planning and delivery phases
- Confident engaging senior stakeholders and navigating matrix environments
- Pragmatic, adaptable and comfortable working across multiple initiatives simultaneously
