About the Role

This is a business-facing role ideal for a seasoned Senior Business Analyst who thrives in complex, regulated environments. The position is focused on a critical compliance and reporting project, ensuring alignment with evolving industry standards and regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging across business units to interpret, analyse, and refine requirements for regulatory and compliance-related changes.
  • Supporting the breakdown of work and development of business outcomes to guide delivery efforts.
  • Translating complex compliance and technical needs into clear, actionable insights for project teams.
  • Producing high-quality documentation, including business cases, functional specifications, process maps, customer journey maps, and governance artefacts.
  • Driving evidence-based decision-making through rigorous data analysis and clear communication.
  • Proactively identifying problems and presenting viable, well-informed solutions.
  • Facilitating workshops and cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and clarity across all stakeholders.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Extensive experience working as a Business Analyst within the banking sector, particularly in compliance or regulatory change programmes.
  • Strong understanding of process design, architecture, and improvement methodologies, including familiarity with process mapping tools.
  • Demonstrated capability in stakeholder engagement and communication at a senior level.
  • A solid track record of working within regulated environments, with exposure to compliance, obligations, and scheme management.
  • Proven ability to work with large datasets to generate actionable insights.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • A collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
