About the Company
This is a high-impact opportunity to lead the uplift and migration of enterprise Power BI reporting to the cloud as part of a major Data Lake project. You’ll play a pivotal role in centralising reporting, building sustainable data models and implementing best practices, with Snowflake on Azure as the foundation. You’ll be part of a passionate, technically skilled Data Management team, setting the bar for quality and future-proofed BI capability.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for BI and reporting migration, helping shape a long-term vision for scalable and standardised data practices.
- Lead the migration of Power BI reports from on-prem to Snowflake on Azure
- Build centralised and reusable data models across reporting layers
- Collaborate with the BI & Analytics Lead to define standards and processes
- Support the evolution of a modern, sustainable cloud-based data platform
- Ensure governance, consistency and high quality across all BI artefacts
- Act as a mentor and subject matter expert within the Data Management team
About You
You’re a hands-on BI expert with a passion for cloud technologies and data modelling. You bring both technical acumen and a strong eye for standards and quality.
- Advanced Power BI skills with experience in enterprise BI environments
- Strong SQL/data modelling experience – ideally with Snowflake or Azure
- Background in cloud data platforms and migration projects
- Ability to define and embed BI standards and governance frameworks
- Experience working in cross-functional data teams
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
