About the Role

As a Senior Applications Support Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting, maintaining and enhancing a diverse portfolio of enterprise applications and business systems.


Working within the Application Operations function, you will provide high-level technical and functional support, troubleshoot complex production issues and ensure critical applications remain stable, secure and available. You'll work across both on-premise and cloud-based environments, supporting applications including ERP, CRM, payroll and HR platforms.

The role will involve SQL-based investigation, application configuration, integrations, scripting and automation, incident and problem management, upgrades and enhancements. You will also work closely with internal technology teams, business stakeholders and external vendors to resolve issues and continually improve application performance.

About You

You will be an experienced Application Support professional with strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to take ownership of complex issues through to resolution.

You will ideally bring:

  • Strong experience supporting, administering and enhancing enterprise business applications
  • Proficiency in SQL, ideally across Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting application integrations
  • Scripting capability using PowerShell, Python or similar technologies
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices including incident, problem and change management
  • Experience working with vendors, consultants, infrastructure teams and business users
  • Exposure to application access management, SSO/MFA and digital certificates
  • Strong analytical and root-cause analysis capabilities
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with TechnologyOne, Oracle CRM, ERP platforms, SharePoint or PowerApps would be highly regarded.
