The Opportunity
Step into a key role leading a Centre of Certificate Management program to ensure certificates are properly governed and no longer a source of risk. You’ll own the end-to-end delivery from discovery to Solution Design, market scan and vendor recommendation, through configuration, implementation and testing across a large enterprise environment. Working alongside a PM and BA team, you’ll also support a parallel Data Loss Prevention workstream, navigate structured governance (microdesign forums, change assessment boards), and deliver to tight timeframes with a strong risk, compliance and documentation focus.
The Role
In this role, you’ll drive the technical delivery and governance of a centralised certificate management solution.
- Lead discovery, requirements and author the Solution Design (SD) with thorough documentation
- Run a confident market scan; recommend the right vendor/tool and support go-to-market selection
- Configure, implement and test the chosen CCM platform; integrate, transition and hand over to BAU
- Define and embed certificate lifecycle standards, processes and controls across the enterprise
- Collaborate with PM/BA/architects; engage vendors and navigate change forums and CABs
- Provide SME input to the DLP stream as needed while maintaining momentum on CCM delivery
About You
You bring deep CCM expertise, strong documentation skills and a pragmatic, compliance-minded approach.
- Proven CCM SME across PKI, SSL/TLS, CAs and certificate lifecycle in large enterprises
- Track record writing Soution Design and technical documentation; translating requirements into robust designs
- Confident vendor evaluator with experience influencing selection and commercial fit
- Hands-on with configuring, integrating and testing CCM tools (e.g. ACME, APIs, automation)
- Strong risk & compliance mindset: meet obligations, raise concerns, complete mandatory training; maintain any required practising licence
- Team player who thrives under tight timelines and structured governance; clear communicator
The Benefits
- Initial 6 month contract, with scope for extension
- Opportunity to take ownership of a Greenfield CCM project
- Hybrid working with 2-3 days per week in office, preference for Melbourne but open to Sydney.
