Scrum Master
Rate - $800 per day including superannuation / +GST
Duration - Initial 9 month contract

Davidson is partnering with a leading bank in Australia who is seeking a Scrum Master who thrives in fast-paced, agile environments and understands the inner workings of large, complex financial ecosystems.
About the Role
This role contract offers the opportunity to work at the heart of digital transformation within the banking sector. You’ll lead cross-functional squads in the delivery of digital initiatives, think mobile apps, customer portals, banking platforms and more.
Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating all Agile ceremonies with a focus on continuous improvement
- Removing blockers and enabling delivery teams to perform at their best
- Supporting Product Owners with backlog prioritisation and stakeholder alignment
- Promoting Agile values and coaching squads on best practices
- Managing risks, dependencies, and ensuring clear communication across streams.
About You
You're a confident, delivery-driven Scrum Master with a track record of steering digital projects in the banking or financial services sector.
What you bring to the table:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master working on digital applications or customer-facing platforms
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and how to tailor them in complex environments
- Previous exposure to banking systems and compliance-heavy environments
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
