Our Client:
A major government department driving digital transformation and modernising enterprise content management systems.
The role:
The Scrum Master will lead agile delivery for a critical ECM transformation project, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching teams, and driving continuous improvement within a hybrid agile/PRINCE2 environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement an Agile Delivery Framework tailored to project needs.
- Facilitate and optimise Scrum ceremonies, ensuring effective sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Coach teams in agile practices to improve delivery outcomes and team maturity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to manage project backlogs and support sprint delivery.
- Remove delivery roadblocks and support teams in adaptive problem-solving.
- Maintain alignment with public service values and code of conduct.
Skills & Experience:
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in complex environments.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Track record of coaching teams through agile transformation.
- Ability to manage risks, blockers, and shifting requirements.
- Understanding of software development and release practices.
