SAP FICO – Principal Solution Lead (Finance)

Join a major government transformation program as a Principal Solution Lead – Finance, where you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering SAP FICO solutions that support strategic business goals. This is a great opportunity for an experienced SAP Finance professional with a strong grasp of S/4HANA, stakeholder engagement, and enterprise transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of solution design artefacts and implementation strategies across a portfolio of complex projects.
- Drive end-to-end SAP FICO project delivery including business case development, planning, governance, resource management, and reporting.
- Ensure alignment with business requirements, identify interdependencies, and support sustainable solution adoption.
- Collaborate with Business Process Owners, Corporate Services, and Transformation Leads to ensure effective integration across functions.
- Support data migration efforts, validate test scenarios, and ensure defect resolution aligns with approved design.
- Provide Level 3 support for ERP operations and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
About You:
- Extensive experience in SAP FICO (FI/CO), including configuration and integration with S/4HANA Finance.
- Strong understanding of finance processes, data migration, and project delivery within large-scale or government environments.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects.
- Experience working with process documentation, test planning, and business readiness activities.
