Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM / TM Functional Lead to support a client engagement in Melbourne. This role requires a senior functional consultant who can work closely with stakeholders, lead solution design, and deliver high-quality SAP EWM outcomes, on a 3-month contract for potential extension in Melbourne on Hybrid schedule. The successful candidate will be viewed by the client as a trusted advisor and subject-matter expert.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements
- Lead solution design, system configuration, and functional documentation
- Facilitate and support functional and design workshops
- Create and validate end-to-end process maps
- Prepare and maintain configuration documents, functional specifications, and test cases
- Execute unit testing and support broader testing cycles
- Provide inputs and guidance to stream and program leadership
- Act as a functional expert and trusted advisor for SAP EWM solutions
Skills & Experience Required
- 15+ years of overall professional industry experience
- 10+ years of hands-on SAP EWM experience, including multiple greenfield implementations
- Strong functional consulting background within SAP
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Solid end-to-end supply chain knowledge
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
- Proven ability to lead discussions and collaborate effectively within teams
Desirable Experience
- SAP Transportation Management (TM) experience
- Exposure to SAP SD and MM modules
- Industry experience across FMCG, Retail, and/or Process Manufacturing
