Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Functional Consultant for an initial 3-month contract based in Melbourne, supporting large-scale SAP transformation and implementation initiatives. The role will focus on engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, design solutions, perform system configuration, and deliver functional documentation including process maps, test cases, and specifications. The successful candidate will be viewed as a trusted functional advisor with strong SAP EWM expertise across multiple greenfield implementations, alongside hands-on experience in testing, configuration, and Agile delivery environments. Exposure to SAP TM, SD, or MM modules, along with strong communication, analytical, and leadership capabilities, will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:
Job responsibilities include working with clients to understand requirements, solutioning, system configuration and documentation.
- Be seen by the client as a functional expert and trusted advisor
- Facilitate and support functional workshops
- Creating / validating process maps
- Documenting configuration, functional specifications and test cases
- Execution of test cases
- Performing system configuration and Unit Tests
- Providing inputs to stream / program leadership
Qualifications and Experience:
Functional resource experience in SAP.
- Minimum of 10+ years professional industry experience
- SAP EWM experience (multiple greenfield implementations) with 8 years
- SAP Transportation Management (TM) experience a plus
- Experience with SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) a plus
- Experience with SAP Material Management (MM) a plus
- Ability to Debug SAP EWM is a plus
- Experience with Agile implementation methodologies
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proven track record demonstrating strong communication skills and ability to work and lead a team
