ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join a leading global consulting organisation on a 6-month contract with high possibility of extension. You will work on enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions for a high-profile client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions across the full software development lifecycle.
- Build and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and related technologies.
- Work closely with stakeholders, delivery teams, and fellow developers to identify and implement system enhancements.
- Develop integrations with external applications and systems using A PIs and web services (experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft or Azure is highly desirable).
- Ensure all solutions adhere to Salesforce security, development, and governance standards.
- Take ownership of defect triaging, resolution, and ongoing management.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, design documents, and release notes.
- Act as a proactive team member who can adapt to changing requirements and support team delivery.
Essential Criteria
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Experience Cloud, and Service Cloud.
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce development tools and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in consulting or delivery-focused environments.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II and/or App Builder.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Exposure to Salesforce Community Cloud or similar collaboration tools.
- Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD processes within Salesforce environments.
- Nice to have (but not essential): experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions and OmniStudio.
