Reporting to a senior leader, you will work alongside experienced recruitment professionals to support the delivery of end-to-end recruitment assignments. These projects are often high-profile, fast-paced and involve engaging with senior stakeholders across a range of industries.

No two days will look the same in this role, and the more willingness you show to take on additional tasks, the more you will get out of it. Tasks will include:

  • Booking meetings and interviews
  • Reviewing applications
  • Phone screening candidates
  • Completing telephone reference checks
  • Ordering probity checks and assessments
  • Liaising with candidates and clients to keep them informed on processes and request additional information

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience working in a fast-paced and high-performing office environment. You will have excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. You are able to effectively project manage processes and people, and are comfortable engaging with stakeholders all the way up to CEO level. You know how to multi-task, prioritise deadlines, and push back on stakeholders with conflicting requests. This role is best suited to someone who wants to grab it with two hands and make it their own. Ideally you will have exposure to (or a demonstrated interest in) the recruitment or HR industries, and an aligned tertiary qualification.

This is an opportunity to get in at the ground level of our organisation and learn best-practice from some of the best senior recruiters in Melbourne.
