ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Test Engineer
with strong functional testing expertise in accounting and finance applications
to support a critical engagement on the Acurity
platform. This role suits a hands-on tester who thrives in Agile environments and enjoys working closely with developers and product stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Previous experience supporting testing initiatives for UniSuper or similar financial services environments will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Review business and technical requirements to provide clear, timely feedback
- Design and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Estimate, prioritise, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Execute functional, regression, and system testing
- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify system requirements
- Monitor debugging and retesting outcomes
- Continuously improve testing processes and approaches
- Stay current with emerging testing tools, methodologies, and best practices
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Proven experience testing accounting or finance-based applications
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
- Ability to produce clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
