Davidson is proud to be partnering with Talbot Mills Research, owned by Anacta, to appoint a Qualitative Researcher to join their growing team.

Talbot Mills Research is a fast-growing market research firm specialising in social, corporate and political research. Their highly experienced team is known for innovative methodologies and deep understanding of public sentiment.

Working across complex stakeholder, communications and public perception projects, the team helps clients understand and shape public opinion through a full suite of qualitative and quantitative research methods.

With increasing demand across both corporate and political sectors, this is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team doing meaningful work, with strong momentum locally and internationally.


About the Role
12-Month Fixed Term Contract. This opportunity is suited to an experienced qualitative researcher who enjoys working in a fast-paced consulting environment and is confident engaging directly with corporate stakeholders and executive leadership teams.

Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting focus groups with corporate clients, business stakeholders and community participants
• Developing discussion guides and qualitative research materials
• Preparing topline summaries, analysis and detailed reporting
• Producing high-quality written reports and PowerPoint presentations
• Managing qualitative research projects end-to-end
• Liaising directly with clients and senior stakeholders
• Analysing insights and contributing to strategic recommendations and high-impact reporting
• Working across issue management, stakeholder engagement, public perception, communications and social licence projects
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously within a collaborative and fast-moving environment

About You

To be successful, you will bring:
• Demonstrated qualitative research experience within corporate or stakeholder-focused environments
• Strong facilitation capability across online focus groups and qualitative interviews
• Experience developing discussion guides and strategic insight reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and project management capability
• Confidence engaging with senior managers, CEOs and executive leadership teams
• High attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously
• A proactive, self-starting mindset
• Interest in current affairs, politics and broader social issues

This role may suit someone from a market research agency, communications environment, stakeholder engagement background or a corporate in-house insights team.
