If you enjoy structured testing, mobile quality, and seeing your work directly improve a customer-facing product at scale, this is a strong contract opportunity.

The Role

You will be responsible for driving quality across mobile releases, coordinating structured testing activities, and working closely with internal stakeholders and an external vendor to validate issues, fixes, and feature enhancements. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and test cases
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
  • Coordinate and support UAT, including scripts, outcomes, and stakeholder support
  • Identify, document, triage, and prioritise defects with clear evidence
  • Validate bug fixes and support release and production smoke testing
  • Maintain test documentation, defect status, and release readiness reporting

About You

You will bring strong QA capability in mobile environments and be confident working across structured test execution, defect management, and stakeholder engagement. To be successful, you will have:

  • Proven experience as a QA Analyst or Software Tester
  • Experience testing native mobile applications across iOS and Android
  • Exposure to mobile device testing tools, emulators, and simulators
  • Experience with mobile test automation frameworks
  • Strong UAT experience and solid understanding of SDLC and release processes
  • Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills

The Benefits

This opportunity offers a mix of meaningful product impact and flexible working conditions, including:

  • Initial 12 month contract opportunity on a high-visibility digital product
  • Hybrid working arrangement with 3 days on site and 2 days remote (Brisbane CBD)
  • Work on a customer-facing app with real scale and ongoing enhancement
