Our Client

Our client is a government-affiliated organisation delivering digital innovation across Queensland’s resources industry. They’re looking for a motivated and detail-driven Project Support Officer to help deliver a vital digital health solution supporting the state’s mining workforce.




The Role

As a Project Support Officer, you'll play a crucial role in a major health project by driving user acceptance testing, coordinating project activities, and supporting the development of key documentation and training materials. Your contributions will directly impact the success of a critical health solution for Queensland’s mine workers. You’ll collaborate closely with a dynamic project team to ensure smooth project delivery, continuous improvement through active feedback, and effective communication.




Responsibilities

· Assist the Project Manager in managing project activities and maintaining project artifacts.

· Create project board materials, coordinate board meetings, and document meeting minutes.

· Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring successful testing outcomes.

· Design business processes to support the system and develop user training materials.

· Gather feedback from external stakeholders and end users during sprints and releases to refine deliverables.

· Support the Project Manager with additional tasks to ensure project success.



Skills & Experience

  • Deliver work with precision and attention to detail, asking the right questions to understand business/customer priorities and expectations.
  • Previous experience in supporting technology projects, particularly those involving change management in a digital transformation context.
  • Strive for high-quality results and always look for ways to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Effectively use records and information management systems to maintain and organise project documentation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and ensure alignment across project phases.
  • Translate stakeholder feedback into clear, actionable updates that contribute to continuous project improvement.
