About the Company

We are partnering with a state government client seeking a skilled Project Support Officer to assist in the delivery of Queensland’s boating infrastructure maintenance and capital works programs.


About the Role

This role provides critical support to the Maritime Assets and Infrastructure unit, contributing to the successful delivery of boating infrastructure projects through effective administration, coordination, and reporting. You’ll work closely with project managers to maintain schedules, manage documentation, support procurement, and ensure governance frameworks are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and coordination support across maintenance and capital works streams.
  • Maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables using internal systems.
  • Prepare and update project documentation including reports, meeting minutes, and financial summaries.
  • Assist with procurement activities including purchase orders, contract documentation, and deliverable tracking.
  • Monitor project expenditure and support financial reconciliation.
  • Maintain registers for risks, issues, decisions, and lessons learned.
  • Ensure accurate document control and recordkeeping using systems such as DMS and SharePoint.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, site visits, and stakeholder workshops, including minute taking.
  • Provide reporting and dashboard updates aligned with governance frameworks.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across project governance.
  • Perform other duties as required to support program delivery.


About You

You are a detail-oriented and organised project support professional with experience in infrastructure or asset management environments. You thrive in fast-paced settings and are confident managing competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and consistency.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in project or administrative support within infrastructure or asset management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, 3PCM, SAP, or similar.
  • Understanding of project governance, financial tracking, and procurement processes in a government context.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Familiarity with Queensland Government systems and standards is advantageous.


The Benefits

  • $59.16 per hour + Super
  • Contract to 30 April 2026
  • Brisbane CBD Location
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday (up to 40 hours/week)
