About the Role

We are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for a Project Risk Manager - Senior, who will be responsible for the identification and management of the Project risks. Coordination with the different teams for identification and risk responses is key. The Project Risk Manager - Senior role provides training and support to decision-makers, tracks key risk indicators, produces reports and insights on organisational risks, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Support the management and control of the project development risk management plan, risk register and resource requirements against the Project plan.
  • Report to internal management on the progress of the development activities of the Project and Project risks.
  • Advise the Project team on risk management and compliance with the Victorian Government Risk Management Framework
  • Collaborate with the Project team to design and implement risk management frameworks and processes
  • Support risk owners in presenting information and reporting

About You

To be successful in this role you will have a relevant tertiary qualification, along with significant experience in managing project risks, ideally with transmission line or renewable energy project experience. You are able to work confidently and independently, facilitating discussions with project teams and management, engaging stakeholders on the importance of effective risk management. You will have excellent problem solving and analytical skills, and the ability to influence outcomes broadly across the project. You will bring experience in reporting up to management on project risks, as well as supporting risk owners in their reporting.
