The Role:
Join a major transformation program aimed at modernising dispute resolution processes in Queensland’s regulatory landscape. As Project Officer, you will work closely with the Program Manager and key stakeholders to support the planning, delivery, and reporting of high-impact projects focused on improving productivity and outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and track delivery of strategic projects in line with organisational priorities
- Maintain accurate project documentation: plans, schedules, risk registers, and updates
- Prepare high-quality written content: reports, presentations, briefing notes
- Organise and support meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagement activities
- Monitor project milestones and flag risks or issues
- Support procurement and contract processes as needed
- Promote continuous improvement and apply lessons learned
Skills & Experience:
- Proven background in project coordination or project support, ideally in government or regulated environments
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, and project tools like MS Project or Planner
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities
- Familiarity with project frameworks like PRINCE2, Agile, or PMBOK
- A detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to navigate policy, compliance, and reporting requirements
