A leading financial institution seeks a Project Manager/Product Manager to join the Home Lending team, pivotal in crafting new system features to elevate customer experience and ensure seamless operations.
About the Role
As the Project Manager/Product Manager you’ll help shape and drive key initiatives that enhance customer experiences, streamline frontline operations, and enable strategic transformation across the bank’s retail lending portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the delivery of business and product initiatives across the Home Loans portfolio.
- Serve as the key liaison between delivery squads, operational teams, and senior stakeholders.
- Define, track, and report on business requirements, project milestones, and benefits realisation.
- Translate complex business problems into actionable, value-driven outcomes.
- Ensure business readiness through proactive planning, strong communication, and collaborative execution.
- Represent business priorities in Agile ceremonies and governance forums, partnering with product owners, analysts, and tech leads.
Core Deliverables:
- Development of clear, actionable business and product requirements.
- End-to-end planning and delivery of initiatives, including timelines, dependencies, and risk management.
- Stakeholder engagement across Retail Distribution, Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams.
- Creation and rollout of support tools, training materials, and user guides for frontline and back-office staff.
- Coordination of UAT and validation of business solutions with key feedback loops.
- Ongoing tracking of initiative outcomes and performance against KPIs.
About You
- Extensive experience as a Senior Business Project Manager or Product Manager in large-scale financial services environments.
- Strong understanding of Home Loans or Retail Banking operations
- Proven ability to lead in a matrixed environment with multiple delivery partners and stakeholders.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks and experience with Agile squads.
- Exceptional communication skills – clear, confident, and tailored to diverse audiences.
