About the Role
Seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead a major end-to-end Payroll system implementation, integrating with Oracle HCM.
You will play a pivotal role in delivering a seamless transition from the existing centralised Oracle HCM platform to a new Payroll system.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of a new Payroll system, ensuring successful integration with Oracle HCM.
- Own project planning, governance, and execution, including RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management.
- Liaise and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors/partners to deliver outcomes.
- Drive project delivery independently with minimal oversight — looking for someone proactive and self-motivated.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, ensuring expectations are aligned and issues are resolved swiftly.
- Work closely with HR and IT teams to align payroll processes with business needs.
- Some interstate travel may be required during critical phases of the project.
About You
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end Payroll system implementations, ideally with Oracle HCM or Workday integrations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills — you're a great listener and a trusted leader.
- Strong background in project governance including RAID logs, reporting, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team player, while confidently leading initiatives and engaging diverse stakeholders.
- A self-starter mindset — you take ownership and drive delivery without needing step-by-step guidance.
