Davidson has proudly partnered with a reputable government agency to assist them in sourcing a Project Manager to implement a new Learning Management System.
About the Role
As the Project Manager, you will oversee the full project lifecycle – from early discovery and vendor selection through to implementation, testing, training, change management, and go-live.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of the LMS project, including planning, scope, schedule, budget, and reporting
- Manage the discovery phase, including business case development, requirements gathering, and market analysis
- Run the vendor selection and procurement process
- Coordinate design, configuration, integration, testing, and deployment of the new LMS
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and communications with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure alignment with compliance, accessibility, and data security standards
- Oversee user training, change management, and transition from the legacy platform
About You
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end LMS implementations in complex environments – ideally within government or emergency services
- Strong understanding of LMS platforms, eLearning tools, and learning technologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead discovery, vendor evaluation, and selection processes
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with experience in cross-functional delivery teams
- Strong project governance, documentation, and reporting skills
- Ability to work in high-stakes, fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders
