Our Client:
A major Queensland Government department focused on building a connected, accessible and future-ready transport network for the community.
The Role:
You will lead a major capability uplift project designed to modernise the wireless traffic sensor data transfer environment. This position is responsible for ensuring the new capability is reliable, efficient, and aligned with future operational and contractual needs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of the WTS capability improvement project and associated work packages
- Collaborate with vendors, technical teams and business units to develop and implement effective solutions
- Engage stakeholders to refresh, validate and document business and technical requirements
- Facilitate clear communication across all groups to ensure requirements and expectations are aligned
- Manage project risks, issues, priorities and maintain accurate schedules and progress reporting
- Produce key project artefacts, including requirements and documentation supporting procurement activities
Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated project management experience, ideally across intelligent transport systems or complex ICT environments
- Strong understanding of Queensland Government ICT frameworks and policies
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities
- Proven history of delivering successful ICT or capability uplift projects
