The role:
Lead and deliver complex, high-impact projects supporting state-wide pathology operations. You’ll provide expert guidance on project delivery, governance, and performance, ensuring successful outcomes that enhance Queensland’s public health system.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, high-risk projects within a structured project management framework.
- Coordinate and support multidisciplinary project teams to deliver outcomes aligned with strategic objectives.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and communication to ensure engagement and collaboration across all levels.
- Oversee project reporting, governance, and risk management to ensure accountability and quality delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement and support capability uplift in project management across the organisation.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven success leading large-scale and complex projects within structured frameworks.
- High-level communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in public sector or health-related environments highly regarded.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in project management or a related field desirable.
