Position Title: Project Manager – HR Systems

Contract Type: 24-Month Fixed-Term Contract

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – HR Systems to lead a major HR Transformation Program for a global healthcare provider. This role will manage multiple HR technology projects, including a Workday implementation(Core HR, Recruitment, Talent & Learning) and the ongoing migration from Kronos On-Premise to UKG Pro Cloud.

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading all internal delivery activities, overseeing project structure, governance, and execution while partnering closely with the selected System Integrator (SI). This is a senior business-focused PM role, requiring expertise in HR technology implementations, stakeholder engagement across federations and the ability to manage direct reports including Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end project management across HR systems programs (Workday, UKG).

  • Lead internal project governance, planning, and delivery activities in partnership with external SI providers.

  • Establish team structures, define deliverables, track milestones, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment with business outcomes.

  • Manage internal resources including Business Analysts and SMEs to support delivery phases.

  • Partner with stakeholders across federated divisions to ensure consistent and effective rollout.

  • Drive HR Transformation activities across process, people, and technology change.

  • Oversee testing, change control, risk management, and transition to BAU support.

  • Provide clear, regular reporting to executive and senior stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance, security, and safety frameworks.

Key Projects

  • Workday Implementation:

    • Phase 1: Core HR & Recruitment

    • Phase 2: Talent & Learning

  • UKG Program:

    • Migration from on-prem Kronos to UKG Pro Cloud (currently Phase 3, progressing into Phase 4).

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale HR systems programs (Workday, UKG Pro, or equivalent).

  • Strong background in business-focused project management within complex, federated organisations.

  • Ability to manage multi-phase HR technology transformations with multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Experience overseeing System Integrator partnerships.

  • Demonstrated capability in project governance, risk management, and change control.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing Business Analysts and SMEs.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non-technical groups.

  • Project management qualifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, SAFe).
