Davidson is partnering with a well-regarded organisation within the superannuation sector to appoint an experienced Project Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business delivering important change across investment operations, finance and technology, with a strong focus on fund accounting and unit pricing environments.
About the Role
The Project Manager will lead the delivery of complex initiatives across fund accounting, unit pricing and broader investment operations. Working at the intersection of finance and technology, this role will be responsible for driving projects from planning through to execution, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to business objectives.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading end-to-end project delivery across fund accounting and unit pricing initiatives
- Partnering with finance, investment operations and technology teams to define and deliver change
- Managing project plans, governance, risks, issues, dependencies and reporting
- Coordinating internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery outcomes
- Supporting system and process improvements across investment and funds management operations
- Translating business requirements into clear delivery plans in collaboration with technical teams
- Driving strong communication, alignment and decision-making across cross-functional groups
About You
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering change within superannuation, investment operations or broader financial services environments.
They will bring:
- Proven experience delivering projects within fund accounting and unit pricing environments
- Strong financial services domain knowledge, ideally across superannuation, investments or funds management
- Technical systems experience, with the ability to work closely with technology teams on system-led change
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives across finance and technology functions
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills
- Experience working with external vendors, partners or service providers
- A structured and proactive approach to governance, risk management and delivery execution
- The ability to operate confidently in a fast-paced, evolving and highly regulated environment
